A Very Busy January - 15 January 2008
January is here, and I'm so pleased to have been invited to participate in several Burns suppers and Burns nights throughout Perthshire. Among other things, it's given me the impetus to learn a few more of the Bard's songs. The upcoming evening at the Watermill will, I think, be great fun. Although Douglas, Claire and I have worked together before, the addition of Anna Hepburn's acting skills has brought a new dimension to what we've accomplished in the past.
When I was planning which concerts to see at Celtic Connections this year, I certainly never thought that I'd actually be participating in one of them. The Aberfeldy and District Gaelic Choir will be joining Margaret Bennett and others for an evening called "Voices of the World" in the Glasgow Concert Hall. Singing with Margaret is a very special treat, and we're thrilled to be accompanying her as she performs a new and very special song for the first time.
